Kasturba Samadhi

Kasturba Samadhi Kasturba samadhi is located within the vicinity of Agakhan Palace, it is better known as Kasturba Gandhi Memorial. Aga Khan Palace was used by Britishers as a prison during their rule in India. Kasturba was wife of Mahatama Gandhi. She breathed last here in Aga Khan Palace while she was imprisoned with Mahatama Gandhi by Britishers. In order to pay homage to the great lady, this place was converted into a museum. Ashes of Kasturba Gandhi can still kept here.
The memorial remains open for public viewing from 09:00am to 06:00pm. The memorial is also known as Gandhi National Museum.
