Mahatma Phule Museum in Pune

Mahatma Phule Museum Mahatma Phule Museum, established in 1875, is presently known as Mahatma Phule Vastu Sangrahalaya and is located in the heart of the city Pune. The exhibits in this museum include marble statues, brassware items, stone carvings and oil paintings. It also displays many other artifacts, textile and jewelry items, arms and armory, handicrafts, items related to geology, agriculture, forestry, natural history and industry.
The museum serves as a platform for information and knowledge exchange. It has a well-maintained library with rare collection of books in all ways of life, art and culture. Occasional film shows and seminars conducted in this museum attract many interested audiences.
The Museum is open for visitors from 8 am to 5 pm all days, except Wednesday.
